USPI Inline Filter systems (Model: USPI 1000H/C) are commonly used on small pressurized systems and reservoirs (i.e. air compressors, hydraulic power packs, engines or turbines). The 1000H/C is user friendly, making it easy to operate (i.e. take an oil sample, monitor filter element life, change filter elements and drain canisters). The 1000H/C produces stellar fluid cleanliness with a simple approach to filtering that removes both solid contaminants and moisture from compressor fluids, leading to longer fluid and equipment life.
Are you experiencing poor hydraulic performance? Or are your hydraulic pumps and motors failing because your hydraulic oils are wet and dirty? By installing a USPI inline filter system (USPI 88 Series) equipped with its own pump and your choice of motor (standard TEFC, wash-down, explosion-proof, air), you can filter your contaminated fluids back to cleaner-than-new levels.
(3) USPI High Pressure Filter systems (Model: USPI 1000AMM) are designed to be used inline on refrigeration reciprocating and screw compressors. The 1000AMM is user friendly, making it easy to operate (i.e. take an oil sample, monitor filter element life, change filter elements and drain canisters). The 1000AMM produces stellar fluid cleanliness with a simple approach to filtering that removes both solid contaminants and moisture from compressor fluids, leading to longer fluid and equipment life. Within weeks of installing a USPI 1000AMM filter, you will clearly be able to see the oil cleanliness improving through the oil sight glass. Custom-sized reservoirs are available.
(6) The USPI Portable Filter systems (Series: USPI 87) can be summarized with one word: versatile. Do you have a problem with contamination control and no way to reclaim the man hours and dollars spent changing oil? True contamination control is now a reality with USPI Portable systems, which are designed for conditioning both petroleum-based and water emulsion fluids. Need to efficiently move fluids between reservoirs? The Portable Filter series also operates as a fluid transferring device.
(4) The USPI handheld filter systems (Series: USPI 150HH) are portable units used for on-site preventative fluid maintenance, uniquely designed for filtering both low and high viscosity fluids ranging from water emulsion fluids to petroleum-based gear oils. There are hundreds of applications suited for the USPI 150HH ranging from hydraulic reservoirs, gearboxes, injection molders, construction and mining equipment, turbines, or a drum or tote of collected dirty fluids. If your equipment is prone to contamination, then the USPI 150HH is ideal for you.
The USPI OilMax Lube Room solution combines the best in contamination control and lubricant storage while also providing a means to filter or transfer fluids from a 55-gallon drum. The OilMax system is user friendly, making it easy to dispense or filter fluids. The OilMax provides superb contamination control that removes both solid contaminants and moisture from compressor fluids, leading to longer fluid and equipment life. Additionally, the OilMax totes are stackable. This produces a compact oil storage and filtration system that is both efficient and effective.
US Petrolon offers a complete line of industrial lubricants for air compressors, refrigeration pumps and compressors, hydraulics, vacuum pumps and gearboxes. Through the use of custom-formulated synthetic and semi-synthetic lubricants, US Petrolon supplies fluids that provide extended service life in extreme operating conditions. You choose the application, we provide the right lubricant for the right equipment, helping you produce tangible savings.
US Petrolon offers a line of industrial greases designed to lubricate bearing and gear applications where a continuous oil supply cannot adhere. Our greases use specialty additives that enhance the product's performance and allow them to be used at higher temperatures than many other greases. When selecting a USPI grease for a particular application, you must consider the following parameters: food grade, operating temperatures, water resistance, oxidation stability, solvent resistance and shear stability.
(11) At the heart of each USPI filter system are the USPI depth filter elements. USPI depth filters provide efficient axial fluid flow (the fluid is forced to flow the entire length of the media segments). This level of filtration results in extended fluid and equipment life as each filter element captures several pounds of solid contaminant and up to 5 quarts of water (depending on the type of element and fluid being filtered).
Because compressed air and gas are essential in equipment operation, instrumentation, refrigeration and a variety of industrial processes, US Petrolon offers separators, coalescers and demister-exhaust filters that are suitable replacements for all major OEM parts; they meet or exceed the specifications and performance of the OEM parts.
While clean, oil-free air or gas is necessary to reduce maintenance and replacement costs, even atmospheric air contains objectionable contaminants in both solid and liquid forms that must be removed prior to the use of the compressed gas. Additionally, in many compressor and vacuum packages, oil that is intentionally introduced as a coolant and sealant that must be taken out prior to air use. US Petrolon's separators, coalescers and demister-exhaust filters diminish these problems because they are constructed with filter media that gives much higher filter and coalescing efficiency.
US Petrolon offers several different oil sampling valves and probes, each designed to allow users to take a representative sample quickly and safely. While there are various techniques for taking an oil sample, some are better than others. Taking an oil sample right the first time saves money, avoids re-take and provides accurate data for trending that establishes accuracy in decisions made from oil analysis.
As a service to our customers, US Petrolon performs oil condition monitoring on the data acquired from industrial oil analysis kits. The process begins when a customer pulls a sample from a reservoir or piece of machinery and sends it to the appropriate lab to be analyzed. Once US Petrolon receives the data electronically, we interpret it for our customers and provide them with a plan of action. Our recommendations have helped save our customers thousands of hours of downtime and tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars in machinery failure.
